Na minha infância morei por um espaço de tempo
no interior do Nordeste junto com a minha avó.
Das lembranças que tenho, lembro da primeira vez que a vi:
estava me esperando chegar, apoiada na janela.
Os dias embaixo do sol catando caju pra vender a castanha
na feira. Brincar com os soldadinhos que ficavam pelas plantas
do sitio, cuidar das flores... E fugir das galinhas.
In my childhood, I lived for a period of time in the interior

From the memories I have, I recall the first time I saw her:
